This policy explains what personal information Hissini collects, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to hissini.com, our mobile apps, and related services.

Hissini (“Hissini”, “we”, “us”) is a creative marketplace based at Handan A 7, 100-Torshavn, Faroe Islands. We connect Inspirers, actors, artists, and producers so ideas can be discovered, unlocked, licensed, or purchased.
For privacy questions, email support@hissini.com. We handle personal data in line with applicable Faroese data-protection law and, where it applies, comparable European standards.
We collect information you give us, information created when you use the platform, and limited information from payment and infrastructure providers that help us run the service.
Depending on the activity, we rely on: performing our contract with you (account, purchases, payouts); our legitimate interests in running a secure marketplace; consent (newsletter, optional cookies); and legal obligations (invoices, fraud, regulatory requests).
Card, wallet, and bank payments are processed by licensed payment providers (including QuickPay and similar gateways we may use). Those providers receive the payment details needed to charge or pay you. Hissini stores transaction references, amounts, currency, status, and limited method labels (for example card or bank transfer) so we can confirm deals, issue invoices, and pay creators.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. We receive confirmation that a purchase or subscription is active, not your full store payment credentials.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate Hissini:
Hissini is operated from the Faroe Islands. Providers and users may be located in other countries. Where data leaves your country, we use appropriate safeguards such as contracts with processors and access controls.
We keep account and content data while your account is open and for a reasonable period after closure if needed for disputes, backups, or legal claims. Transaction, invoice, and payout records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support messages and newsletter records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent (for example marketing), and request a copy of data you provided to us. You can also close your account in the app or by emailing support@hissini.com.
We may need to keep some records (for example completed payments and signed purchase agreements) even after a deletion request. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may contact us first and, where applicable, the Faroese Data Protection Authority (Dátueftirlitið).
Hissini is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support@hissini.com and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (access control, encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and limited staff access to payment and payout data). No online service is completely secure. Please use a strong unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
The website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this policy when the product, law, or our providers change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes may also be notified in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
